Your Child's Online Diary

When your child joins Diddy Dinos they will have an online profile & diary, also called a 'Learning Journal' documenting their progress through Pre-school. We use a secure software called 'Blossom' that can be accessed with a password via the parent app or website. Blossom enables you as a parent or carer to :

 TRACK YOUR CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT

Each child at Diddy is assigned a Key Person - a member staff that is responsible for documenting your child's development. This is done through observations of 'Next Steps'. An example of your child's Next Step could be recognizing the first letter of their name, or putting on their coat and shoes independently.

 SEE PICTURES AND VIDEOS

Your child's observations are documented through photos and videos with text. Although not all photos/videos are related to Next Steps - sometimes we will just capture a sweet moment of your child at Diddy. Blossom is a lovely tool for seeing what your little one is up to during the day !

 COMMUNICATE WITH STAFF

Blossom can also be used to communicate with all Diddy Staff. You as a parent or carer can drop us a message regarding your child and receive a response via the app.

 SHARE MOMENTS FROM HOME

Not only can moments at Diddy be captured, but also moments at home ! You can share photos and videos of milestones reached at home or even just a fun activity/trip that your child can share with us in class the next school day !

 VIEW ACCIDENT FORMS

If your child has an accident at Diddy, no matter how big or small, it will always be documented. A member of staff will let you know on the day and you will also receive a accident form that you can view on your child's Blossom profile.

 PAY FEES

To make things even easier, all attendance fees can be paid via the Blossom app/website.

 BOOK ADDITIONAL DAYS & SESSIONS

You can also nquire about additional days & sessions for your child and book them via the Blossom app/website.
