Here are a list of questions we are asked most frequently by parents/carers...

DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE POTTY TRAINED BEFORE STARTING AT DIDDY DINOS ?

No ! Your child does not need to be potty trained. Children can start with us wearing nappies, half way through potty training or in pants. We will support you through the process. We have 6 child size toilets as well as child size sinks which makes it much easier for the children to be independent. We do ask our parents to provide nappies and wipes.

WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS ALLERGIES/DIETARY NEEDS ?

We cater for all dietary needs and allergies. Before your child starts with us, we will have a meeting so that we understand their needs and can put everything in place to ensure their safety while in our care.

Families provide their children's lunch. We only provide snack which consists of fruit, veg and crackers. To see what our snack plates look like, click here...

DO YOU HAVE A SETTLING IN POLICY AT DIDDY ?

We do not have a settling policy in place - we simply adapt to every child's needs. Some children will benefit from doing a short 1hr session and others will cope just fine doing a 3hrs session. We will have a meeting beforehand to decide what will suits your family best, and will have a chat after each session to plan for the next.

Absolutely ! You are welcome to call us on 07947 548 424 at any time.

ARE YOU OPEN TERM TIME ONLY ?

Yes. We are open 8.30am - 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

ARE ALL OF YOUR STAFF FIRST-AID QUALIFIED ?

Yes, all staff hold a valid first aid qualification. We are also registered with Millie's Mark.

DO YOU TEACH THE CHILDREN ANOTHER LANGUAGE ?

Indeed ! We currently have one of our mum's doing Spanish lessons at Diddy, and our Manager incorporates French in the children's day to day. For example, today's head count will be done in French!

WHICH FUNDING DO YOU ACCEPT ?

We accept the Together for 2s, 2 years old funding, 3 years old funding as well as the extended 3 years old funding. We also accept childcare vouchers. For more information on Funding, click here...
